Teachers Day Special
What gifts can I give to my favorite teachers?
No amount of gifts or words can ever be enough to appreciate their immense impact in my life and the lives of many others. They are simply priceless.
Teachers work hard day and night to bring out the best in students. They unfolds the our hidden talents and creativity . Just like a good gardener, a teacher sows the seeds of moral-ethics within us so that we can become good citizens.

It is really important to value the work teachers do in our lives. At one point in life or another a teacher must have added value to your life. Always find a way to appreciate them. every small gesture counts. Such appreciation will only motivate them to do better.
You can’t talk about quality education without talking about quality teachers.
According to Solomon Ortiz. “Education is the key to success in life, and teachers make a lasting impact in the lives of their students.” This is indeed true but we must understand that only quality teachers will make a lasting positive impact in the lives of their students while poor teachers will make a lasting negative impact in the lives of their students. That is why we must always try to improve the status of teachers. They need quality training and quality remuneration. Teaching is an art, a skill, a gift that needs to be developed and refined. Quality training will help people develop this skill and eventually promote quality education. Personally, I think teachers ought to be the highest paid workers in any nation because teaching creates all other professions but it is sad that some are not even paid at all. Most teachers are not even interested in teaching students properly due to poor remuneration. They abandon their classes to do other things that will give them money while some are simply interested in using their students to make money. This is really saddening but it must not remain so. We can change the status quo.
We need practicable policies that will truly appreciate the value of teachers, improve their status, wipe out the corruption in the teaching profession and dismiss some people who have no business teaching students.
'When we stride or stroll across the frozen lake,
We place our feet where they have never been.
We walk upon the unwalked. But we are uneasy.
Who is down there but our old teachers?
Water that once could take no human weight-
We were students then- holds up our feet,
And goes on ahead of us for a mile.
Beneath us the teachers, and around us the stillness'.
